En mi campo, la biología y específicamente la taxonomía, una forma de saber que alguien está haciendo bien su labor son la creación de epónimos en su honor por parte de taxónomos. Específicamente en la taxonomía es la creación de nombres científicos de organismos basados en el nombre o apellido de una persona. Es un reconocimiento que queda plasmado para la posteridad en un nombre científico de una nueva especie.
